Slag heap: a large pile of abandoned mineral waste that shapes the landscape and bears witness to an extractive activity.

Intrigued by these vast mounds of black stones, the scars of a forgotten culture that distort the horizon, I invoke this former mining presence through an event that, for some, evokes a forgotten collective feeling. The story revolves around eight people who meet for the first time during a day organized on a slag heap. The project involves wildcrafting followed by a meal. The people discover the territory and its history through a sensory experience that generates a new way of coming together and of experiencing this artificial landscape.
