225.5 is a collection of bags stemming from research into the upcycling of climbing ropes. With an increase in the number of climbers over the last thirty years, the sport has rapidly spread in cities. As the production of safety equipment for climbing has multiplied, the amount of waste has increased proportionally. This project therefore proposes an alternative to the disposal of these ropes to extend their life cycle.
