In a sense, this film was conceived in a spirit of purgation. It is about purging that feeling of slowly sliding down a slope, close to what we can all eventually experience to varying degrees from time to time. I tried to extract the true substance of this sticky feeling in order to be able to express it with accuracy and simplicity in the film.
