L’interstice (The gap)

Sociologist Zygmunt Bauman describes a liquid society where everything quickly becomes obsolete, is discarded, replaced. Humans themselves are objects of consumption. The durability of relationships is affected by a constant disengagement. L’interstice is an installation involving interactive sculpture, 3D video and photography. It places the visitor in an ambiguous and uncertain position, between a desire for emancipation from entrenched patterns and a liquefied life where emotion struggles to find its place and its time.
