The ground shifted and you are walking in thick soil. Your feet are cold, you can’t concentrate. You try to feel the limits of your body, where your being begins and what is around you ends. You hear the birds calling, the roar of the road. My work takes shape on the boundary between states of consciousness and unconsciousness, wakefulness and drowsiness, i.e. zones of confusion. I try to bring out forms that are like inner images that take on a material form.
