Restoration of Abstract Landscape (oil, acrylic, ink and pastel on cotton canvas, 2019) by Ximena Maldonado, currently a student in the Painting department at La Cambre. Although very recent, the work required restoration due to poor conservation conditions. The paint layer had largely become detached and had to be reattached to the canvas. The main challenge with regard to this treatment was the selection of restoration techniques adapted to the variety of materials that make up the work.
