My collection draws on the esoteric rituals, customs and traditional festivals of my Sardinian background while interweaving three of the creative professions that have define my studies: leathercraft, porcelain and embroidery. At the heart of the project are porcelain fingers, collected by the hundreds as a symbolic materialization of the accomplishment of know-how. More than being simply representative, as they clack and tinkle they tell us a parallel and secret story: the story behind a collection and the work that goes into making it a reality.
