Khoudièdji, known as Tjiki, is a body-building athlete. But that’s not really the story told in this film. Khoudièdji is a woman who asserts her identity and fights to find her place in a world that categorizes her and sees her as different. She is a strong and vulnerable woman. She is an angry woman. She is a woman whose story I wanted to tell.
