Starting out from childhood objects and separating them from their original function, Flavie’s installations and assemblages turn into nightmares while telling a new story. A story woven in time. A time in which innocence flirts with the macabre, because let’s not forget that these two notions hang by the same thread. A thread tied to an insidious carnal wound like the sweet, sickening naivety of a lonely bird that, without a flutter, looks for itself in return.
