My project involved creating a typography to prevent birds from flying into glass. This phenomenon is one of the main causes of bird mortality. Birds don’t understand glass, they can only anticipate it when there is a marking on the pane. BirdRead is a typeface designed for writing on glass or transparent surfaces to prevent birds from crashing into these surfaces. It is hollowed out to allow light to pass through.
