Luna Petit is influenced as much by pop culture as by the history of arts. Through printing, she copies and pastes on fabrics and papers, blending porn icons from the 2000s photographed by a proven aggressor, queer fanzines, fifteenth-century pilgrim vulvas, and women’s magazines from the 1990s. She reflects on the capacity of images to embody and evoke fantasies in order to navigate the fragmented narratives of identities constructed through mourning and joy.
